SUMMARY:Implementation Science Monthly Rounds
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that the September Implementation Science Monthly Rounds (ISMR) will be held September 8th\, 2026 from 12-1pm ET and feature Dr. Gloria A. Aidoo-Frimpong\, PhD\, MPH\, MA. Dr. Aidoo-Frimpong is an implementation scientist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health at the University at Buffalo\, SUNY. \nDr. Aidoo-Frimpong’s research focuses on advancing equitable implementation of HIV prevention and care interventions among underserved populations\, particularly African immigrant communities in the United States (U.S) and adolescent girls and young women in sub-Saharan Africa. Her work integrates implementation science\, community-engaged research\, digital health\, and behavioral science to develop\, adapt\, and evaluate interventions that improve the uptake and sustainability of evidence-based HIV prevention strategies.
