Bio

Annie Glover, PhD, MPA, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She earned her PhD in Health Policy & Management from Tulane and holds graduate degrees in public administration and public health from the University of Montana. Dr. Glover’s research focuses on sexual & reproductive health (SRH) and substance use disorder (SUD), with a growing emphasis on HIV and infectious disease risk among pregnant and postpartum people. She applies a D&I science approach to her work, aiming to improve health systems and policy responsiveness in clinical settings. Dr. Glover has included evaluations of PEPFAR programming in Uganda, family planning in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Medicaid, maternal health, and SUD in Montana and Alabama.
