Kellie Hawkins (she/her), MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and an attending physician at Denver Health’s Public Health Institute. Dr. Hawkins serves as the medical director of a low-barrier program for people with HIV who use substances and face complex barriers to care. Her clinical work and research are focused on closing gaps in the HIV care continuum. Specifically, Dr. Hawkins is interested in novel methods of HIV care delivery and is focused on improving the implementation of long-acting antiretroviral therapy for populations with adherence challenges.”
