Mariajosé Paton, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar at the Impact Institute at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She integrates implementation science, mixed methods, digital tools, community engagement, and youth participation to address the social and structural determinants of health that drive the HIV and behavioral health syndemic among youth. She is interested in the measurement and implementation of meaningful community engagement in syndemic interventions for youth.
