The JHU CFAR Biostatistics and Epidemiology Methodology (BEM) Core is now offering monthly, virtual office hours. Office hours are intended to provide space and time for earlier engagement in the study design and analysis process. The next session will be held on October 24, from 1-2 pm ET (register by October 17).
Who?
Anyone working in HIV research at JHU (students, faculty, staff, trainees, etc.)
What?
20-minute timeslot with a BEM Core faculty member for epidemiology and biostatistics questions related to:
▶ Research study design and analysis plans
▶ Protocol development
▶ Sample size calculations
▶ Statistical analysis and interpretation
▶ Manuscript preparation and writing
Office hours are meant to help with questions that can be addressed in 20-minutes or less. For more in depth questions and consultation needs, please submit a formal CFAR Service Request Form.

When and where?
Once per month for one hour (three 20-minute timeslots) via Zoom
How?
While not required, participants are encouraged to submit questions and supportive materials (e.g., study aims) to ewentz1@jhu.edu at least 3 days in advance to allow for more targeted discussions.
