Laura Beres, PhD MPH is social and behavioral scientist focused on the development and evaluation of interventions to effectively prevent and treat HIV in low resource settings, particularly sub-Saharan Africa. She has more than 15 years of experience in HIV research and implementation, including 9 years residentially in Lesotho and Zambia. Her work utilizes community-engaged and mixed-methods implementation research with the goal of identifying and applying optimized practices in real-world settings.
